We’ve got two easy dipping sauce recipes that’ll complement our deliciously flaky filo rolls perfectly!

You’re always ready for guests and last minute entertaining with our golden filo rolls! A classic taste that pairs beautifully with tea, we’ve created two flavorful dipping sauces that’ll maximize the deliciousness of our already appetizing filo rolls…   

Preparing these recipes is equally as fun as it is to devour them! If you’re ready let’s begin!

Dipping sauce recipe for spinach or spinach&leek filled filo rolls: 

  • 200 g yogurt
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 bunch of scallions
  • 1 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  •  1/2 tsp of dried mint 

Combine the yogurt and the cream cheese in a large cup. Beat thoroughly. Add the thinly diced scallions into the mixture and continue to blend. After adding the thyme, chili powder, and dried mint give it a final mix. Serve with your freshly baked, warm filo rolls. We’re certain that this dipping sauce – filo roll combination will be your absolute favorite! 

Dipping sauce recipe for potato filled tray pastry:  

  • 5 capia peppers 
  • 1 tomato
  • 45 g of walnuts
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp of cumin
  • 1 tsp of spicy chili powder 
  • Olive oil 

Preheat the oven to 180C. Roughly dice the peppers and tomatoes. After drizzling a bit of olive oil all over grill them in the oven for around 20 minutes. After removing the peppers and tomatoes from the oven, peel the peppers and place both ingredients in your food processor. Add the walnuts and a little bit of olive oil. Mix until smooth. Then, add the cumin and spicy chilly powder, and mix them all once again. After the mixture softens and has the consistency of a puree, remove the mixture from your food processor and serve within a bowl.
